Some statistics for you

Number of members - The number of members on the Yorkshire Indexers site has grown to 3,221, a reduction in the pace of new membership, but with less unwanted messages

Number of Churches now on site is 3,540

Torre Manuscripts have now had 82 items entered out of over 350 - Volunteers required here, with thanks to those who have already assisted.

Religions and Sects - The number of fringe groups have recently been added to, (now 124 entries) but there are many as we have found recently in some 19th century dictionaries on the subject.

Memorial Inscriptions - This relatively new section has now 390 entries. If anyone has any to be added, place them in the Misc, section, they can easily be moved, or if you have a considerable number of them we can start a new section.

War Memorials - These now total 2,032 entries, the season is now good for outdoor work, in the spring and summer we may appeal for volunteers, we can let you know which graves to look for.

Soldiers who died - This has now increased to 1,610, keep up the good work here, check your local library for old newspapers, many soldiers obituaries were posted in local papers throughout the war years and many with the photographs.

Online Records - This miscellany of lists of historical items ranging from the 14th century to the 1900's has now grown to 187
(If you have any items you think would be useful for this section please include them on the site or send them to one of Admins/Mods who will be glad to post them for you.)

Malicious Posters
A problem that we had last year, has now been brought firmly under control, no more offensive or unwanted messages appearing on the message boards, over 200 would be posters were banned.
