Hi there,
The modern day Cavalier Hill is bordered by Ellerby Road, Ellerby Lane and the nearest Chursh is/was Mount St Mary's, there's another church shown on Ellerby Road and one shown on Upper Accomodation Road, although I dont know there names, all these are in Leeds 9.
Cheers Roger.

The reason I ask is the family I am looking for were married and had children christened at St Peter's church. But sadly the wife was left a widow at an early age, no trace (currently checking burial records at library) can be found.
LDS site seems to be lacking on burial records, so I am having to check systematically Leeds churches.

Do you have any names / dates so that we may be able to assist further? There are numerous graveyards/cemeteries in the Leeds area.

The person I am trying to locate is one William Yewdall (Married Faith Dickinson 19th October 1806 St Peter's church)
Faith's death listing is recorded as: Wife of William (Youdall) Yewdall aged 52 of Cavalier Hill.
Currently been through up to 1832 burials, nothing found as yet.
