Pudsey Cemetery, consists of 7 Registers. Over half of these are now complete thanks to the sterling efforts of Graham Nurse.
Each register hold approximately 3,000 records. The 3 registers for the consecrated section commenced 15th Jul 1875 and the 4 registers for the general section started 9th Jun 1875. In the latter part of the 3rd register of the consecrated section the format changes to include both consecrated and General entries. This is due to the records being computerised around this period (June 1987).
There are no grave books for Pudsey Cemetery, although we are preparing an index to cover this. It is hoped that all the Pudsey Registers will be released in the next issue of the Leeds & District Burials CD later on this year.
