Does anyone have access to shipping manifests from America to England in the early 1900s?

I am looking for the arrival back in England (they "went home to Leeds") of any of the Sharpe (or Sharp) family in the 1900-1906 period. Last residence of all would be Hawaiian Islands. Some lists have a column for that information. I am looking for Joseph Sharpe (who made 2 trips, one about 1903, another 1904/5); Sarah Sharpe, Lily J. Sharpe Manson, George Percy Manson, Grace M. Sharpe (who went to Filey, probably as a teacher), Rosalind Swan. Native place for most would probably say Leeds, although it turns out some were born in Hutton Rudby and Bradford. Rosalind was born in Australia.

I am also looking for the departure, probably from London, of Joseph Sharpe (or Sharp) bound for Hobart, Tasmania, in 1881/2/3. The rest of the family sailed from London December 1883, arriving in Hobart February 1884; "sent out on the application of Joseph Sharp". We have copies of the lists for the family, but old Joseph must have gone out ahead of them.

I am also looking for the departure of George Percy Manson from England to Australia approximately 1914/15. He went out to Western Australia to live with his uncle Augustus Peabody Sharp.

http://www.ellisislandrecords.org/ is quite good as all new arrivials had to pass through Ellis Island before being set free in America. You can actually see the transcript of the ship's manifest for free. Only problem is you have to register (it's free) and they bombard you with newsletters! This is for people going INTO America.

Doesn't seem to be any lists for People leaving the place - maybe they couldn't bear the thought that people were actually wanting to leave?!?!?!:hehe:

I understand shipping lists are "just in boxes" in London - totally unusable I would guess. Of course, shipping lists are notoriously inaccurate, but they do give an idea of dates, at least of the travel, and often names of family members. We know the details are wrong for many of ours, but the dates of migration are fact.

Thanks for your help with this.
