May I wish all our readers a Happy New Year. Everyone has been so busy beavering away the News Section hasn't been updated. We have been busy transcribing records, and trying to improve the search facility of the Database. Have a peek here to see how things are coming along.
I read with dismay, on the front page of last nights Yorkshire Evening Post, that thieves have stolen and damaged headstones in the graveyard of St. Mark's Church, Woodhouse, Leeds, Yorkshire.

The Site is currently being restructured to incorporate all the project work into an online facility. This means the project CD's will no longer be available; all the existing data is being uploaded to the new members area. Together with a large amount of new material. There is a small annual charge to use this facility but from the feedback we have so far it is certainly worth it.
