We are pleased to announce the site was returned to normal status after a short down time. This was due to Mike Hansell uploading even more wonderful data. The web site has since been given a quick polish and is back up and running.

May I wish all our readers a Happy New Year. Everyone has been so busy beavering away the News Section hasn't been updated. We have been busy transcribing records, and trying to improve the search facility of the Database. Have a peek here to see how things are coming along.
I read with dismay, on the front page of last nights Yorkshire Evening Post, that thieves have stolen and damaged headstones in the graveyard of St. Mark's Church, Woodhouse, Leeds, Yorkshire.
